Online Alarm Clock

Set a free online alarm for today or tomorrow. View the current time, choose 12-hour or 24-hour format, and let the alarm repeat until you stop it.

11:00:21 PM

This online alarm clock lets you schedule one audible alarm directly in your browser. Select an hour and minute, set the alarm, and confirm whether it is scheduled for today or tomorrow. When the selected time arrives, the sound repeats until you stop it.

How to Set the Online Alarm

Choose the desired alarm time and press Set Alarm. A confirmation below the clock shows the scheduled time and whether the alarm will ring today or tomorrow. Press Cancel Alarm if you want to remove it before it rings.

What Happens When the Alarm Rings?

The alarm sound repeats continuously when the scheduled time is reached. Press Stop Sound to silence it. After the alarm begins, the schedule is cleared, so another alarm will not be created automatically for the following day.

Scheduling an Alarm for Tomorrow

If the selected time is later than the current time, the alarm is scheduled for today. If that hour and minute have already passed—or exactly match the current minute—it is scheduled for tomorrow.

12-Hour and 24-Hour Time

Use the 24-hour format switch to change how the current and scheduled times are displayed. This changes only the presentation; it does not alter the scheduled moment.

The Alarm Uses Your Device Clock

The current time and alarm schedule come from the date, time, and time zone configured on your device. An incorrect device clock or a time-zone change after setting the alarm can affect when it rings.

Keep the Alarm Page Open

The alarm runs in the browser and is not saved as a system alarm. Keep this page open and avoid reloading it or navigating away. Closing the tab or browser cancels the schedule. A sleeping device or a browser that suspends background pages may delay the sound until the page becomes active again.

Check Your Volume and Browser Audio

Make sure the device is not muted, its volume is high enough, and the browser is allowed to play audio. The Set Alarm button prepares the sound during your click, but device, browser, battery-saving, and background restrictions can still affect playback.

When to Use an Online Alarm Clock

Use it for study sessions, cooking, breaks, meetings, appointments, workouts, medication reminders, or other noncritical alerts. For waking up or safety-critical reminders, use the built-in alarm application on your device as a backup.

Private Local Operation

The clock and alarm operate locally in your browser. The selected alarm time does not need to be uploaded to or stored on an ORVITech server.

Online Alarm Clock Example

Suppose the current time is 10:22 AM and you select 11:00 AM. The confirmation shows that the alarm is set for today at 11:00 AM. If it is already 11:00 AM or later when you set that same time, the alarm is scheduled for 11:00 AM tomorrow.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I set an online alarm?

Select an hour and minute and press Set Alarm. The confirmation below the clock shows the scheduled day and time.

Can I schedule an alarm for tomorrow?

Yes. Select a time that has already passed today, and the calculator automatically schedules it for tomorrow.

Why was my alarm scheduled for tomorrow?

The selected hour and minute had already passed or matched the current minute when you pressed Set Alarm.

Will the alarm sound continuously?

Yes. The sound repeats until you press Stop Sound, navigate away, or close the page.

How do I cancel the alarm?

Press Cancel Alarm before the scheduled time. The confirmation disappears and the alarm will not ring.

Can I set more than one alarm?

No. This utility schedules one alarm at a time. Cancel the current alarm before choosing another.

Does the alarm repeat every day?

No. It is a one-time alarm. After it rings, you must set it again if you want another alert.

Does the alarm use my local time?

Yes. It uses the date, time, and time zone reported by your device.

What does the 24-hour format switch change?

It changes how the current and scheduled times are displayed. It does not change the actual alarm schedule.

Will the alarm work in a background tab?

It may, but browsers and operating systems can throttle or suspend background pages. If that happens, the alarm may be delayed until the page becomes active again.

Will the alarm work if my device goes to sleep?

It is not guaranteed. A sleeping device may suspend browser activity, causing the alarm to sound late when the device or page becomes active again.

Will the alarm work if I close or reload the page?

No. Closing the tab or browser, reloading the page, or navigating away removes the scheduled alarm.

Why can I not hear the alarm?

Check that your device is not muted, the volume is high enough, and the browser has permission to play audio. Background or battery-saving restrictions may also interfere.

Do I need to install an application?

No. The alarm works directly in a compatible web browser.

Is this suitable as a wake-up alarm?

It can be used as a convenient browser alarm, but it should not be your only wake-up method because browser or device suspension can delay it. Use a system alarm as a backup.

Is my alarm time uploaded or stored?

No. The alarm operates locally in the current browser page and is not stored on an ORVITech server.
