Bulk Barcode Generator – Create PNG or SVG Batches

Create multiple Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, or ITF-14 barcodes locally and download the complete PNG or SVG batch in one ZIP file.

Show value below barcode

This bulk generator converts a list of values into individual barcode images. Paste one value per line, select a barcode type and image format, preview the first four results, and download every generated file together in a ZIP archive.

How Bulk Barcode Generation Works

Each non-empty line is treated as a separate barcode value. The generator creates one uniquely named PNG or SVG file for every value and packages the complete batch into a ZIP file directly in your browser.

How to Choose a Barcode Type

Code 128 is a flexible choice for many internal inventory, asset, and logistics labels. Code 39 is commonly used for compatible alphanumeric identifiers. EAN-13, EAN-8, and UPC-A are numeric formats associated with retail trade items, while ITF-14 is commonly used for GTINs on outer packaging and distribution cartons.

Retail Barcode Images and Official Product Numbers

Creating an EAN, UPC, or ITF-14 image does not assign or register an official product identifier. Businesses that need globally unique retail product numbers normally obtain GTINs through GS1 and must follow the requirements of their retailer, marketplace, distributor, or trading partner.

Paste Values From a Spreadsheet

You can copy a single column from Excel, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet and paste it into the values field. Each row becomes a separate barcode. If identifiers contain leading zeros, format the spreadsheet cells as text before copying so those zeros are preserved.

PNG or SVG Barcode Files

PNG files are raster images that are convenient for documents, labels, and common image workflows. SVG files are vector graphics that can be resized without losing sharpness, making them useful when the barcode will be printed at different dimensions.

Show or Hide the Human-Readable Value

The Show value option controls whether the encoded text or number appears below the bars. Hiding the text does not change the value encoded in the barcode itself.

Private Browser-Based Generation

Barcode generation and ZIP creation happen locally in your browser. ORVITech does not upload, store, or retain the values you enter or the barcode files produced from them.

Bulk Barcode Generation Example

Suppose you paste SKU-1001, SKU-1002, and SKU-1003 on separate lines, select Code 128 and PNG, and choose Generate Barcodes. The result contains three individual PNG barcode files inside one ZIP archive, with previews of the generated images shown before download.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I generate multiple barcodes at once?

Yes. Enter or paste one value per line. The generator creates one barcode file for each value and places the complete batch in a ZIP archive.

Which barcode type should I choose?

The correct type depends on where the barcode will be used. Code 128 is flexible for many internal applications, while EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, and ITF-14 are intended for specific numeric identification systems and supply-chain uses.

Does this generator provide official UPC or EAN numbers?

No. It creates barcode images from values you provide. It does not issue, register, or verify globally unique product identifiers. Official GS1 product identifiers must be obtained and managed through GS1.

Why might a barcode value be rejected?

Barcode standards differ in permitted characters, numeric length, and check-digit requirements. A value that works with Code 128 may not be valid for EAN-13, UPC-A, or ITF-14.

Can I paste values from Excel or Google Sheets?

Yes. Copy one column and paste it into the generator. Each line is processed separately. Preserve identifiers with leading zeros by formatting the spreadsheet cells as text before copying.

Should I choose PNG or SVG?

Choose PNG for common raster-image workflows. Choose SVG when you need a barcode that can be resized for printing without losing sharpness.

How many previews are displayed?

The first four generated barcodes are displayed as previews. Every generated barcode, including those not previewed, is included in the ZIP file.

Will every generated barcode scan successfully?

A valid barcode image can still become difficult to scan if it is printed too small, stretched, cropped, blurred, given insufficient contrast, or placed without adequate blank space. Test the final label with the scanners and printing process you intend to use.

Are my barcode values uploaded or stored?

No. The values, barcode images, and ZIP archive are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to ORVITech.
